The Village of Jaworki: Many consider Jaworki as the finest village in the country. It boasts not only its own chair lift (summer and winter), but also lovely walks through the Homole gorge, valley of Biala Woda, Czarna Woda and Zaskalskie. Some longer climbs afford the views of Tatra Mountains and lead through forested hills. All can be undertaken from the village without the use of a car. Jaworki is a small village, consisted of three old villages: Jaworki, Biala Woda and Czarna Woda. The first mention about Jaworki comes from the XVI century.

The village has an outdoor restaurant/bar and a good restaurant (Polish food) in a traditional wooden construction. There are two shops and a church with Orthodox décor and Catholic worship. There are two riding schools. In winter slay rides are offered. Summer (from Szczawnica to Jaworki): horse carriage rides and children’s fun railway.

There are regular mini buses between Jaworki an Szczawnica. Szczawnica is the major tourist center in the region of the Pieniny.
Picturesquely located along the Grajcarek River, the town has developed into a popular summer resort, & it's mineral springs have made it an important spa. It's also the finishing point for Dunajec Gorge raft trips. It is a well-known resort town since the mid nineteenth century. Due to the presence of alkali sorrel springs and favorable climatic conditions, many respiratory and digestive tract illnesses are treated there. If you have the time, take the cable chair up the small hill called Palenica and the views over Szczawnica are excellent from up there!
Niedzica Castle was built in XIV century. It's one of the best preserved castles in Europe.

Pieniny Mountains is one of country’s national parks and a nature reserve close to Tatra Mountains and famous for its river Dunajec (raft rides available from Easter to late September/October).

It has a chair lift to its neighbouring highest peak (ski runs, summer walks). Two hot spring swimming pools approx 1hr distant, Zakopane (1 hr 15 min by car), Auswitz (3hrs ), Wadowice, Wieliczka salt mine (2hrs), Krakow and Divine Mercy shrine (2hrs) - all possible as day trips. This attracts tourism from all over country and abroad (mini buses from Jaworki and Szczawnica (neighbouring spa and health resort). Szczawnica (approx 3 miles from Jaworki) is famous for its micro climate and various mineral waters.
